Bykea launches car service in competition with other market players

Ride-hailing and delivery company Bykea has finally launched its car service in Pakistan chasing market competitors Careem, Uber and InDriver.

Initially starting from Karachi and Islamabad, Bykea is expected to expand its car-hailing service to Lahore in the coming months. The company has to face strict competition from already existing market giants which have both bike and car services.

Since the looming fuel prices, Bykea has seen a massive rise in its customer base and revenues, which has likely enabled the company to expand its services.

Earlier on August 22, the company skeptically informed about the launch of its car-hailing service this week with a captivating and enthralling social media post that read “Hum honay walay hain 2 se 4.” The company has confirmed Friday the launch of its new service with a new tagline, “Hum ho gaye hain 2 se 4”.

Bykea operates in numerous big cities across Pakistan with over 1.7 million active monthly users and more than 60,000 driver partners. It raised $10 million from its current partners to capitalise on its rising demand in Pakistan, a recent report from Bloomberg said.
