ISLAMABAD: National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is organising a Venture Capital Startup Conference on December 16 to seek input from experts in different fields on the National Venture Capital Policy Framework being formulated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST).
The ministry is in the process of formulating a National Venture Capital Policy Framework intended to improve the enabling environment for venture capital investments and startup financing, alleviate any inadequacies and hurdles in attracting foreign investments, and optimize the overall investment climate of Pakistan.
MoST is inviting all relevant stakeholders from government, venture capital firms, startups, and the industry at large, to draw on their experiences and international best practices, for an inclusive and forward-looking policy-making exercise.
The participants can become a sponsor or outreach partner for the event, participate as a member of one of the working groups at the event, or simply attend the event as an audience member to witness and network.
The intended participants can register to receive an invitation to attend this invite-only event hosted by the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) through the web link.
The event will be held in Islamabad and the last date for the intending participants to apply is December 14.
