LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Environment Protection Department (EPD) Muhammad Rizwan inaugurated Electrical Vehicles (EV) charging station at Lahore’s Packages Mall.

CEO Total Parco Mehmet Celepoglu, CEO packages Mall Khurram Raza Bakhtayari, Director Parco Shahid Mahmood Khan, and others were present on the occasion.

Minister was briefed that the station takes 25 to 40 minutes to fully charge a battery.

EPD minister cut the ribbon along with other dignitaries and said in his address that there was a dire need of adoption of electrical vehicle policy for better air quality, reduce noise pollution, enhance energy security, low carbon power generation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

He appreciated the efforts of the management of Total Parco in launching the EV station. He said that initiative for environment sustainability was commendable along with the positive initiatives sector.

CEO Total Parco Mehmet Celepoglu said on the occasion that Parco stands with the vision of the government to promote a friendly environment throughout the country.
