LAHORE: The Petroleum Dealers Association (PDA) on Sunday announced a countrywide strike on November 25 over reluctance by the government to increase dealers’ margin to 6 percent.
The association while announcing a countrywide strike on November 25 said that the petrol pumps will remain closed.
According to the spokesperson of the Petroleum Dealers Association, the government is giving false consolation on a 6 percent margin while the nationwide strike is being announced after their demands were not accepted.
The spokesperson further said that the petrol pumps will also remain closed in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
